Hi
I am rob, 41 and am in the January 2018 intake. I live in east Devon in the sleepy village of Otterton.
I have been a lover of photography and film since I can remember, my grandad having brought me my first stills camera at the heady age of 8.
I am self taught in both photography and film, the latter turning into a production company – Flock 92 Productions in 2011.
It is photography that is my main passion. My focuses are very varied, but centre around wildlife, landscape, military aviation, transport and racing, music and comedy, festivals / carnivals, shows and abstracts.
I am joining the MA in photography as I have now hit a glass celling. Unable to learn or be challneged anymore on my own, I need a push to get me to become more open about my work. One of my biggest challenges is that my photography work as almost never been shown in public – outside of my friends and family on social media. The concept of producing works to show and be commented on is for me a huge challenge, but one i am very much looking forward to.
My day job is with the NHS, where I manage and develop community hospitals and health services for the East Devon area.
If you would like to know more about my work, have a look at some of my other sites:
